SHANGHAI, October 22.

H.M.s. destroyer Bruce is believed to be resj>onsib]e for saving the passengers and crew of the British coaster Kwangse, of the Butterfield Shire Steamship Company, which struck a submerged rock in the vicinity of Amoy in a gale yesterday. The Kwangse is a vessel of 2000 tons, and it is believed she cannot be sal vaged.
