Man Arrested After Victim's Dying Deposition. TERRIBLE RAZOR WOUNDS. BRISBANE, October 22. A murderous attack was made upon a woman named Violet Connolly at North Brisbane. Her dying deposition? have been taken.
The victim's face was injured, and she boro other terrible wounds inflicted with a razor. The tendons of her right hand were completely severed.
Tl)o woman says a "man whom the police afterwards arrested, entered her bedroom, broke some crockery on her head, and then attacked her with a razor. *

Spurious £10 notes appeared at the Caulfield races on Saturday. It is believed they are "identical with those given to bookmakers at the fame meeting a year, ego and that they originated from the same gang of Sydney forgers.
