AUCKLAND SUBURBS.

CONFIDENCE IN MR. MASON

Tlie transport question was referred to at some length by Mr. H. G. R. Mason, Labour candidate for Auckland Suburbs, at his meeting at Te v Atatu last night, when Mr. H. R. Moor presided over an attendance of about sixty. The City Council, by its lack of enthusiasm, had hampered the framing of a suitable bill for presentation to Parliament, said Mr. Mason. However, he believed that under the present Act Te Atatu would have little difficulty in securing admission to ths Transport Board's area upon application.

Mr. Mason was accorded a vote of thanks and confidence.
