NIAGARA IN PORT.

- KAZEMBE ARRIVED.

A large number of passengers have arrived from Sydney within the last two days, by the Niagara yesterday and the , Maheno to-day. The former vessel is announced to sail for Vancouver to-mor-row morning. Tlie only other overseas vessel to arrive last night was the Saltersgate with phosphate from Nauru, while the Kazembe from New York arrived this morning. - CANADIAN EXPLORER SAILS. To continue discharge of her general cargo from Montreal, the Canadian National steamer, Canadian Explorer, was to sail this afternoon for Sydney. REMUERA AT LONDON. From Auckland, the New Zealand Shipping Co.'s steamer Remuera Is reported to have arrived at London on Saturday. She left here on September 14. THE ULIMAROA. The Huddart, Parker steamer Ulimaroa was due at Sydney to-day with passengers, malls, and cargo from Wellington. She leaves there next Friday for Auckland, where she is due on the following Tuesday. THE PORT BOWEN. According to a cabled report from London, the Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Bowen arrived there from New Zealand on .Saturday. She was dispatched from Wanganui on September 8. CUMBERLAND LOADING. For final loading for New Zealand, the Federal steamer Cumberland left Glasgow last Saturday for Liverpool. She Is scheduled to clear the latter port on October 27 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedln, and is due here on December 4. FAKE HA REPORTED. En robte from Auckland to London, the Shaw, Savlll and Albion steamer Pakeha fe* reported to have arrived at Montevideo on Saturday. She sailed from Auckland on September 29, nad is due at London on November 10. DEVON'S ITINERARY. The loading Itinerary of the Federal Steamer Devon has been altered to make Napier her final port. She Is due at Auckland next Friday from Wellington direct, and ia to leave here on October 31 for Napier, to .fill up for New York, Halifax, London and West of England ports. HERTFORD FROM LIVERPOOL. Due at Auclclund from Liverpool at 6 p.m. to-morrow, the Federal steamer Hertford is to berth at the Queen's whuflt to land the local portion of her general cargo from West of England ports. Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedln and New Plymouth are her other ports of discharge. MAHENO ARRIVED. With passengers, malls, and cargo from Sydney, the Union Co.'s steamer Maheno arrived at Auckland early this afternoon, and berthed at the Queen's wharf, i.lhe is announced to sail again for Sydney at U а.m. on Friday. Also from Sydney, the Marama arrived at Wellington this morning, and sails again on Friday. NIAGARA ARRIVED. Arriving at Auckland last evening, the Union Co.'s K.M.S. Niagara berthed at the Prince's wharf to laud passengers, mails and cargo from Sydney, and is announced to sail tor Vancouver via Suva and Honolulu at 11 a.m. to-morrow. The vessel is running a day behind schedule, having left Sydney last Friday, Instead of Thursday, her usual sailing day. Fair weather was experienced, with the exception of a severe electrical storm on Saturday night. The Storm lasted for five liours, with heavy fain and an exceptional display of lightning, but tnere was very little wind. KAZEMHE DISCHARGING. Running under the auspices of the A. and A. Line, the Ellerman Bucknall steamer Kaa«i«be (Capt. G. A. Ring), arrived at Auckland this morning from New York via Suva, and berthed at the Central wharf to discharge to the agency of the New Zealand Shipping Co. She left New York on September 8 and cleared Colon 10 days later. Fair weather prevailed to Suva, but after leaving there for Auckland, the vessel encountered fresh EOUth-wcst winds, with heavy rain. The Kazembe is to sail at noon on Thursday for Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin to complete discharge. SALTERSGATE RETURNED. An arrival at Auckland last night was tlie Turnbull Scott steamer Saltersgate (Capt. J. Storm) with phosphate from Nauru. She was at Auckland last August to discharge Nauru phosphate, and from here went to Westport to load coal for Pago Pago. After discharge at Pago Pago she returned to Nauru but was delayed there until the loading berth was vacant. She left there on October 9 and encountered fresh south-easterly winds for the greater part of the voyage. The whole of her cargo will be discharged at the King's wharf to the agency of Henderson and Macfarlane, Ltd., and the vessel is to go into dock next week for cleaning end painting. UNION COMPANY'S STEAMERS. The Katoa is to sail to-morrow night for Westport. The Waimea is to sail at S p.m. to-day for Gisborne and Napier. The Kurow left Dunedin at 5 p.m. on Saturday, and leaves Tiinara at 6 p.m. today. for Lyttelton, Wellington and Auckland. NORTHERN COMPANY'S MOVEMENTS. Projected Departures.
