Mr. Hugh Atkinson, of Feilding, is visiting Auckland. Mr. Reginald F. Thornton, of Aus- 3j| tralia House, London, arrived in Auckland by the Niagara hat wing. Mr. Frederick T. Saythe, of Sydney, was a passenger to Auckland by the , 3 Niagara last liight. Mr. H. W. Elliott, of London, arrived by the Niagara from Sydney last evening. Mr. H. de Costa, of Gisborne, is visiting Auckland. He is staying at the >3 Central Hotel. Mr. E. Casey, Divisional Superintendent of B&ilways, left for the South last evening. Mr. Anthony Hordern, of Sydney, is a passenger by the Niagara for Vancouver, on his way to England. Mr. B. P. Cahill, of Auckland, came back from a holiday visit to Sydney by the Niagara last evening. Mr. D. M. Gillies, superintending engineer to the Union Steamship Company, came back from Sydney by the Niagara last evening. Mr. and Mrs. L. P. Blundell, of Wellington, who have been visiting England and America, returned by the Makura yesterday. Sir Francis and Lady Boys, of Christchurch, who have been abroad, arrived from San Francisco by the Makura yesterday. Mr. Stephen Roper (Dargaville), Mr. H. Heinmann and Mr. Max Freelich (Sydney), and Mr. C. M. Mellsop (Rotorua) are at the Central Hotel. Mr. W. H. Crickmer, inspector of the Bank of Australasia, is a passenger 'to Vancouver by the Niagara. He will make a business tour of Canada and the United States. Mr. D. Allen, a director of Wright, _J| Stephenson and Co., Ltd., arrived back with Mr#. Allen from a tour abroad. He reached Wellington by the Makura yesterday. The Rev. W. A. Sinclair, general secretary of the New Zealand Methodist |ii Foreign Mission Board, went to Wellington last night to join the Makura for the Solomon Islands, where he will attend the Mission Synod. Colonel J. Sclater, representative in -M Australia and New Zealand of the Canadian Pacific Railway, was a passenger from Sydney by the Niagara last evening. Be is staying at the Grand HoteL Mr. P. M.
