BAG AND MONEY STOLEN
Sneak thieves are still operating in the Mount Eden district, visiting houses and ransacking them in broad daylight.
Yesterday afternoon, between 2 and 5 o'clock, an intruder entered the house of Mrs. Jones, -No. 9, Bellwood Avenue, but he did not get a big haul. A bandbag worth £1, containing about £1 15/ in money and several small articles,-was stolen. Entry was gained through a window at the rear of the house.
