APPOINTMENT OF MATRON.
At a special meeting of the Whangarei Hospital Board applications were considered for the position of 'matron;
rendered vacant % the resignation of Miss Cook son. After a long discussion it was decided to forward all-the applications to the Health Department with certain recommendation*.
