COMMERCE TRAIN.
WHAKATANE ARRANGEMENTS.

WHAKATANE, Saturday.
The Auckland business men who will arrive in this district next Monday by the commerce train will be met by members of the Taneatua Progressive League *nd Whakatane Chamber of Commerce, and will be given breakfast at the Taneatua Hotel, after which they will be taken by Taneatua residents round the Opouriao Valley, viewing the Opouriao cheese factory en route. They will wrive a t the junction of the Ohope Gorge Road at 10.20 a.m., where they "ill transfer to cars supplied by Whakatane and Rangitaiki residents. They will then be taken over to Ohope Beach and arrive at Whakatane at noon. Luncheon will be provided at the Whakatane Hotel and afterwards the visitors will be taken to Awaken via McGregor Road, on through Edgecumbe •nd Thornton to Matata, where they will rejoin their train at 4 p.m'. for Tanranga.
