CRICKET TROUBLE.

DISPUTES AT THAMES.

GAMES MAY BE ABANDONED.

(By Telegraph.—Press Association.)

THAMES, this day.

The Thames Cricket Association may be forced to abandon cricket this season owing to the action of the headmaster of the Thames High School, who won't allow the High School ground to be used unless the association pays,£lo. The position is that the association admits High School teams free to the competitions and the association lays down the pitches. The association decided to offer the High School Board £5, failing the acceptance of which they will abandon cricket and refer the position to the Auckland Association and the New Zealand Cricket Council.
