DEATH FROM INJURIES.
KNOCKED DOWN BT MOTOR CAR. MAN SUCCUMBS IN HOSPITAL. Head injuries received in Sturdee Street late last evening, as a result of being knocked down by a motor car, caused the death in the Auckland Hospital, at 2 o'clock this morning, of Mr. Alfred McFarlane, of 22, Cromwell Street, Mount Eden. Mr. McFarlane was admitted to the hospital at 11.15 in an unconscious condition.
