Reports from Australia are to the effect 1 that rain is badly needed in much of the wheat and pastoral areas of the Eastern htates. \ ictonan supplies were in,-leasing satisfactorily when the last mail left Queensland was very dry. whilst useful" rams had fallen m South Australia. On the whole the position as to export quantities for the new season seems very uncertain.
