GLEN EDEN TOWN BOARD.

The Glen Eden Town Board met last evening,. the 10th inst.,'the members pre* sent being Mr. W. H. Shepherd' (chairman), Messrs. Ambler, West,- Rontley, Rosier and Hares. Deputations.—Mr. Pavlovich waited upon the board in connection with his proposed subdivision, -which was not acceptable to the board as submitted. After discussion Mr. Pavlovich agreed to submit a further' scheme plan on the lines suggested by, the board, so as not to* Mock' the possible subdivision of adjoining properties.. With regard to the request for a footpath' fronting the block, the board adhered to its decision that no footpath could be provided until there were residents on the block to warrant the provision of a footpath. Motor .Regulation*.—The clerk reported having obtained a quotation for the signs to be erected under the Motor Traffic Regulations. This matter was left over for the new board to d?al with. Transport Conference.—Mr. Titchener. chairman of the Xew Lynn Totb Board* wrote advising the proceedings of the recent conference with the A.C.C. It was unanimously decided to ask Mr. Titchener to continue to watch the interest* of Glen Eden at the conference to be held this week. ..
