NOT MARKETED CORRECTLY. A PUKEKOHE OFFENDER. "Offenders have been heavily penalised for this offence in Wellington," said Mr. C. P. Gibson, inspector of the Agricultural Department, when Bing Wai, a market jrardener, of Pukekohe, was charged before Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., with having failed to pack seven sacka of cauliflowers in the manner required under the Act. Mr. Gibson said-that the manner in which the cauliflowers were marketed was one that did not give a fair indication of the contents of the sacks. The case was the second of the kind in Auckland. The magistrate imposed a fine of £3, with costs.
