DEATH UNDER ANAESTHETIC.

DENTAL OPERATIOX ENDS FATALLY. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) CHRISTCHURCH, Tuesday. A young married woman, Mrs. C. L. Thompson, died under an anaesthetic to-day, at her home in Riccarton Road, while undergoing the extraction of a full set of teeth. She had been examined by a doctor who was with the dentist, and ho had no cause to fear any mishap, but she collapsed half-way through the' operation, and all resuscitation methods failed.

Mrs. Thompson was the wife of a rail way workshops employee.
