JUNIOR MANAGEMENT BOARD. The usual -weekly meeting of the Junior Management Board was held last evening. Mr. A. J. Tilly presiding. The Grammar Old .Boys Club asked if arrangements could be made for the Hamilton Old Boys Colts to play a curtainraised at Eden Park on Saturday week. The club are to be advised that as Nos. 2 and 3 grounds are now closed, and as No. 1 is required for final play-offs cach Saturday, it was not possible to grant the request, hut if suitable a ground can be provided either on the Domain or at the Show Ground. Applications for permission to travel were granted as follows:—Penrose, to Paeroa, on September 15; Technical Old Boys, to Hamilton, and Manukau sixth grade, to Tuakau, on September 8; and Suburbs third intermediate, to Cambridge, on September 15. Ponsonby Juniors offered to take the game against Manukau at Clevedon on September 15. It was resolved to close the seventh grade B section, and declare Marists the winners. RANFURLY CHALLENGE SHIELD. (By Telegraph—Own Correspondent.) WHANGAREI, this day. North Auckland Rugby Uniou has definitely challenged for the Ranfurly Shield, and is now awaiting the submission of the date by the Wairarapa Union. WANGANUI V. N. AUCKLAND. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WHAXGAREI. this day. The ' Wanganui team against North Auckland at Kensington Park to-morrow is as follows :— Full-back. Fulton; three-quarters, Harrington, Wakeling. Hall; five-eighths. Darby, McLennan: half. Wall; rover. Stiver: forwards. Pine. Kilcolly, Stewart, Levy. McLean, Oxley. Mcßae. Emergencies: Smith Carlson (backs), Wills, Ross (forwards). The North Auckland team is the same as that which met defeat by a single point against Auckland last Saturday.
