ALL READY AT "STAR" OFFICE. The special information service of the "Auckland Star" is in readiness to giye full information to the public as soon a3 the flight commences. At the Fort Street end of the "Star" buildings, the loudspeaker is in position, and operators have been assigned to the three special telephones which are to be used for answering inquiries. The telephones are as follows: — No. 46-994. No. 46-995. No. 46-996. Should inquiries be made this evening, and no replies be received, that may bo taken as a definite indication that the flight has not started. From the moment news is received that the flight is to begin, the telephones will be operating for the information of the public.
