CHARGES AGAINST MAN FAIL,

WELLINGTON', Monday

As the result of 11 disturbance at a social at I'ukewai Bay, Charles Johausen Frank Stewart and George M. Larev were charged to-day with having behaved in a disorderly manner, used [obscene language, and committed misChief to the extent of £3.

It was stated that accused paid for| admittance, and that there was free access to a quantity of beer. Accused used bad language, and behaved in a disorderly manner, and during a fight a tray of glasses were broken.

Mr. E. Page, S.M., held that the place was not a public one, and that the mischief was not intentional. He dismissed the charges.
