TE AWAMUTU NEWS.

At the breaking-up ceremonies at the Te Awamutu District High School Miss Tuthill, who has been infant mistress for three years, and is now promoted to be head teacher at the Huapai school, north of Auckland, was presented with a beautiful handbag as a token of appreciation and goodwill. On Monday next the jubilee will be celebrated of Loyal Te Awamutu Lodge, M.U.. 1.0.0.F.. which was founded on August 16, 1903. by Mr. J. Middlebrook. with a membership of 24. Among the charter members also still on the lodge membership are Messrs. A. Bowden. W. J. North, C. W. Rickit, P. J. Laurie, F. Ticklepenny, J. T. North, Chas. North, and G. A. Bowden.
