Every Australian-bound steamer from New Zealand is carrying passengers for the Eucharistic Congress in Sydney, There will be over 200 of the laity from Dunedin at the conference. Bishop Whyte left Dunedin yesterday for the conference. He has been selected to speak for New Zealand at a mass meeting of women to be held at the Show Ground on Saturdav morning, September 8.
