HOBSON BAY.
PRESERVATION COMMITTEE MEETS. Opposition to the creation of assembly yards and warehouse are* in Hobson Bay was oraised at a meeting of the Hobson Bay Preservation Committee, which was held in the office of Mr. L. P. Leary this afternoon. The meeting was attended by prominent citizens, including residents of the Remuera district. A proposal that the inner portion of the bay should he converted into a lake was made 'by Mr. E. N. Oriniaton and waa well supported. __ _
