NO QUORUM.

CITY COUIfCIL MEETING. PROCEEDINGS ADJOURNED. There waa no quorum at a special meeting of the City Council called for this afternoon to confirm a special resolution to declare a portion of Hohipere Street to be a public street. After the members present had waited the customary fifteen minutes the Deputy Mayor (Mr. A. J. Entrican) declared the meeting adjourned until to-morrow afternoon. Subsequently Mr. Entrican said that it wa& the first occasion he could remember when there had not been a quorum lor a meeting of the City Council.
