PORK EXPORT.

GOVERNMENT POLICY. Speaking at Wanganni last evening the Prime Minister, the Hon. J. G. Coates spoke in justification of the Government subsidy to the pork export industry. Last year, ho said, the pork industry might have fallen to the ground, but instead it was now an industry to which the farmers were looking forward with keenness and a certain amount of confidence.
