PAPATOETOE DEBATING SOCIETY.

The Papatoetoe Literary and Debating Society its third defbate of the season in the Methodist Hall, Papatoetoe, last evening. Mr. J. M. Deas presided, and there was a good attendance. The subject was: "That We are Passing Through an Era of Moral Declension." Teams were: Affirmative, Messrs. R. Vickery, E. Vickery and E. C. Franklin; and negative, Coioney Ooeey, Mr. J. Leonard and Mr. C. A. Moore. At the conclusion of the defbate the affirmative were declared the winners by vote of the audience. Messrs. R. Vickery and Moore were voted the best speakers.
