GOODS AND GOLD STOLEN.

(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Tuesday. Thefts from the warehouse of William Brittenden and Sot and from the boot shop of James John Pegley were admitted by Edward Tarlington Horne, aged 43, in the Police Court to-day. It was stated that accused took goods valued at £65 from the warehouse and goods valued at £8 15/ and £16 10/ in gold from the shop. Most of the goods were recovered, but the money was net. The majority of the goods were concealed in accused's fruit shop near the warehouse. Accused was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence.
