ASPERSIONS ON JUDGE.

HOBART, this day.

Mr. Albert Ogilvie, K.C., formerly Attorney-General, has been adjudged guilty by the Full Court of contempt of Court, in consequence of aspersions made in his election speeches recently against Mr. Justice Crisp. Mr. Ogilvie expressed deep regret. He was ordered to pay costs of an attachment order.

The Hon. Albert George Ogilvie, K.C., LL.B., was born at Hobart on March 10, 1801. He was educated at Bt. Patrick's College, Ballarat, and was called to the Bar in 1914. He is member of the House of Assembly for Franklin, and has been Attorney-General and Minister of Education and Forestry since October 28, 1923. He was married to Miss Dorothy Hines, of Melbourne, in 1921.
