During the last fortnight we have held a number of special heifer and clearing sales, and competition has been keen throughout. Pigs.—The yardings are smaller with a good demand for baconers and porkers; the latter class bave. taken a-consider-able rise in values. There is also a good demand for good stores, but weaners are still very cheap. Horses.—The only class in demand is good medium active farm horses.
