Profound Emotion At Murder Of Leader. PROTOGEROFF KILLED. ("Times" Cables.) LONDON, July D The Sofia correspondent of , the "Times" says the assassination of General Protogeroff and his escort has created profound emotion in the Bulgarian Capital. Well-informed circ'es there recall the fact that the Yugoslav Government recently promised a substantial money reward for his death. A previous attempt was made on his .ife in November, 1927, when he was wounded. General Protogeroff recently resigned from the executive of the Revolutionary Committee, on which there were dissensions, and attempts had been made to exclude him.
