The Hamilton Gun Club held a shoot at Ruakura on Saturday afternoon. Results* „. F ;rst Shoot. 5 birds.—W. Woolven and \\ OKane tied with 4 birds each Second Shoot, 0 birds.— A. Woolven and \S. Woolven tied with the possible. Third Shoot. 7 birds, for cup presented VJ- "I. H Cheshire.—W. ,T. McMiken and I>. \\. Moore tied, and McMiken won the shoot-off.
Fourth Shoot, 5 birds.—Won bv P Jelavieli after a slioot-o'ff with K. O'Kane and W. O'Kane.
Fifth Shoot, n birds.—Won by P. Jelavlch. W. McMiken and D. W. Moore second.
Sixth Shoot. 5 birds.—E. O Kane and W. Moore lied with the possible.
THE WELLINGTON CHAMPIONSHIP.
PALMBRSTON NORTH. Saturday.
The Wellington provincial clay bird championship was won by p. Mcl.achlan, of Masterton. E. Groom, of Napier, wfts flfst in the sweepstake, but he is not a resident of the province.
