HOTELKEEPER FINED £10. fl'rom Our Own Correspondent.) CAMBRIDGE, Friday. The sequel to a raid by the police at the Masonic Hotel at 9.30 on the evening of March 18 was the appearance at the Magistrate's Court to-day of Thomas S. Cray, licensee, charged with supplying liquor for sale after closing hours. Victor F. Cray, Charles William Ilobson, Henrv W. F. Mclvor. Lawrence Webber, and Michael McHugh were ch irged with having been illegally in the bar of the hotel on the same evening. Each pleaded guilty, and was fined £2 with costs 10/ each. Counsel for the licensee submitted that his client was only vicariously responsible, he being upstairs when the other accused were served with liquor bv the barman, Victor F. Cray. The S.M. remarked that accused had was.also fined,;£ 3, with costs 10/.
