"LESS GOVERNMENT IN BUSINESS."
Although we are all a creed the present Government did not stick to~its civet ion pledge of '-less Government in yet it would be difficult to over-estimate the effect of this slogan in electing Reform. It therefore behoves the Liberals to use effectivelv thi.- d i.-credited pledge next election. The sword Coliath has dropf>ed may be used to slay him. Also some constructive method of dealing v ith unemployment is necessary. PrcMimabl v if we could 2Tt the 13.000 farmers back < n the land who ha\e left it this would di»p<>~e ->f manv more unemployed, as it i-. accc]>ted that two land workers employ three city workers. The present palliatives used bv Reform merely intensify the evil. * LIBERAL.
