UNEMPLOYED.
Many letters have been written on this subject, but really only a few know what this word means to the honest married man who is out of work through no fault of his own. Take my case. I am well known, with the highest references from leading people, a New Zealander born, son of an old soldier and pioneer, and am out because of the slump. Girls took my first job. We, like hundreds of others, have had to break up our home and take rooms. I have gone all over city and suburbs, house to house, letting them know I w ant work. A few kind people offer me money. I cannot take charity. I want work, and there are thousands able to give us honest chaps a day. It is wrong to give money; let all work for it. I have tried everything and am a house-to-house seller. Some people see something funny about us down-and-outs, and many laugh, yet what about the hundreds of broken homes and hungry ones all depending on what dad can bring in? LOVE AXD HELP LIVE.
