Yates, ex-chair-n.an of tlic Congregational Union of England and Walo-. who arrived in Auckland from Rotorna yesterday afternoon. will prearh at the Beresford Street and Mount Eden Congregational churches to-morrow morning and evening. respectively. On Monday he will confer with the oflicc-bearers of the Church, and they will tender him a luncheon. TTe will leave on Tuesday for Sydney, en route to Melbourne, where lie will take charge of the Collins Street Independent Church for four months. Dr. Yates is staying at the "Hotel Stonehurst.
