YOUTH SHOT IN EYE.
MISHAP WITH AIR-GUN.
WAIHI, this day. While handling an air-gun at his home a youth named Alexander V. Coffey, son of Mr. Robert Coffey, a mining contractor, of Waihi, was accidentally shot in the right eye. After receiving medical attention he was taken to Hamilton for expert advice and treatment. There is hope that the injury will not result in the hoy losing the sight of the eye.
