There will be a substantial benefit to Auckland farmers in the high prices ruling in London at the. present time foi dairy produce, lor quite a snlwtantial quantity from the Auckland province has arriv.d and is available lor sale at about, this time. j • Among vrjspols winch !kivp arrived in London recently are the following. together wit 11 tii3 quantities taken irom this port: —J'iiiko. ll#>o boxes of butter; Port, Napier, 40.273 boxes; J'ovt > ictor, 13 773 boxes - Westmoreland. 22.010 boxes; Remuera, 28.184 boxes. The Piako also earried 1M crates of cheese and the Kemupra 'JW crate*. These vessels alone account for 10a, boxes of butter and 4407 crates of cheese, every pound <>t which should realise a ftatistactory figure and help to make the farmer forget the unfortunate dry spell which curtailed production in midtsummer. How much more satisfactory aie existing values than those ruling a.t thi > time last year are shown in the following talbles, which also carry the comparison back to 192(3.
