THAMES COUNTY CHAIRMAN. HISSING ALL NIGHT. BACK INJURED IN ACCIDENT. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) THAMES, this day. Henry Lowe, who is chairman of the Thames County Council, and a member of the Highways Board, set out at eleven o'clock yesterday morning to go to a neighbouring farm at Matatoki, Thames Valley. He has not been seen since. Search parties were out all night, but saw no sign of the missing man. Other parties were out to-day. It is feared that Mr. Lowe met with an accident, as he has a good knowledge of the country and it is not likely that he is "bushed." LATER. Mr. Lowe was found by a search party at noon to-day. He had fallen and hurt his back, and was unable to walk. He was suffering from exposure.
