IRISH CONSTITUTION.
AMENDING BILLS IN DAIL. (Australian Press Assn. —United Service.) (Received 11 a.m.) LONDON, June 7. Five bills to amend the constitution of the Irish Free State have been introduced into the Dail Eireann and read a first time despite strong opposition from de Valera's party. Four of the bills deal with the constitution and the method for election to the Senate and the fifth proposes to abolish articles 47 and 48 dealing with the initiative and referendum.
