HINEMOA RETURNED. MAUNGANUI SAILS 3. P.M. From her last voyage to the Pacific Islands, the Government steamer Hinemoa returned to Auckland this morning and berthed at the Queen's wharf. There were no other arrivals from overseas ports to-day, but the Kalingo is due from Newcastle to-morrow morning. The steamer Yoseric is to sali at 5 p.m. to-day for Westport for bunkers, and thence to Makatea to load phosphate for Sweden. UNION COMPANY'S TANKER. On her return voyage to New Zealand the Union Company's tanker Otokia Is reported to have left Los Angeles on Wednesday. THE CUMBERLAND. To complete discharge of her general carxo from West or England ports. the Federal steamer Cumberland Is to sail tomorrow afternoon for Wellington, Lytteiton and Dunedin. TOFUA RETURNING. Cabled advice from Suva states that the Union Company's steamer Tofua left there at 6 p.m. yesterday, with 40 passengers, as well as mails ana cargo, ror Auckland. She is due here on Monday next. KALINGO TOMORROW. With a cargo of hardwood and coal from Newcastle, the Lamb steamer Kalingo is expected to arrive at Auckland to-morrow-morning. She has been allotted a bertii at the Central wharf. (Northern S.S. Co., agents). PIAKO'S MOVEMENTS. In continuation of her voyage» from Auckland, the New Zealand Shipping Co's steamer Fiako is reported to have letf New York on Wednesday last for Boston and London. She sailed from here on April 29. OHINEMURI FOR NAPIER. The small wooden steamer Ohinemuri has been purchased from Mr. F. Appleton. of Newmarket, by Mr. Lovcll. of Napier, for the sum of £ 425. She has been converted into a trawler, and sailed yesterday for her now home port. THE TAINUI. To complete discharge of her London cargo and to commence Homeward loading the Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Tainui is to sail at daybreak to-morrow for Wellington, Dunedin and Bluff. Thence she is to return to Wellington, via Lyttelton to fill up, and to sail dually for London on July 5. ROTORUA LEFT LONDON. The local office of the New Zealand Shipping Company has been advised by cable that the Rotorua left London yesterday with passengers and mails for Wellington, and general cargo for Wellington. Lyttelton, Timaru and Dunedin. She is due at Wellington on July 14. HINEMOA IN PORT. An arrival at Auckland this morning was the Government steamer Hincmoa, from Suva. She has made her last voyage to the Islands, and, after discharge, will be withdrawn from active service, her place being taken by the new motor ship Maul Pomare. The Hinemoa left Auckland on May 9, and two days later encountered a strong N.E. gale. Big seas broke aboard fore and aft, washing away the figurehead and badly straining the superstructure forward. Eventually she was forced to heave-to until the storm abated, and did not arrive at Rarotonga until May 17. Thence she went to Aitutaki and Penrhyn Island, and returned again to Rarotonga. A visit was then paid to Manahiki, Puka-Puka, and Apia, whence she went to Makogai, and there landed two lepers she had picked up. She then called at Suva for bunkers for the return voyage. Aorangl is reported to have arrived at Suva at 7 p.m. to-day. She left Auckland on Tuesday last, and is due at Vancouver on June 22. AUSTRALIAN CARGOES. The Union Company advise the following movements of their Australian cargo steamers :— The Kawatirl is to leave Adelaide tomorrow and Melbourne on Wednesday, for New Plymouth. Portland. Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. Besides general produce, the Kawatlri hat a considerable quantity of timber frum Newcastle for discharge here. The Kaitangata has been fixed to load at Edithburg, Adelaide, and Melbourne towards the end of June for Bluff, Dunedin, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Auckland. UNION COMPANY'S STEAM BBS. The Waipiata was to sail early this afternoon for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Timaru. The Kaimanawa arrived this morning from Westport, via Napier, and berthed at the Prince's wharf. She is to sail again tomorrow evening for Westport. to load another cargo for Auckland. The Kaikorai left Westport at noon yesterday for Auckland, via New Plymouth. She is expected to clear New Plymouth tomorrow afternoon. The Kaituna left Greymouth at 11.30 p.m. on Wednesday for Auckland direct. The Waimea left Gisborne at 4 p.m. yesterday, and arrived at Napier at 4 a.m. today. She is to leave there for Auckland at 3 p.m., and is due here on Sunday morning. The Wingatui is to load at Dunedin tomorrow for Auckland via Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton, and Wellington. MAUNGANUI TO SAIL.
