LAUNCH BURNED.
TWO MEN ESCAPE NARROWLY. (By Telegraph. — Own Corrcfpindfnt.) THAMES. Thursday. Alaunch owned by Mr. L. H. Julian was towing an empty shinple barge along the coast about midnight last night when it caught fire. Mr. Julian and his brother, Mr. H. Julian, had barely time to scramble aboard the barge, and they later reached the shore in a dinghy. The launch, which was valued at £HOO. was insured for £20d.
