NEW BUILDING PLANNED.

SITE IN FORT STREET. riVE-STOREYED STRUCTURE. Plans liavc been prepared by Mr. A. Sincliu- Q'Coonnr for a 5-storeyed Mock of shops and oflices in Fort Street, next to the warehouse of L. D. Nathan and Co., Ltd., on the west side. The building is to be erected for a private company at a cost of £40,000. Jt will have a chain frontage (o Fort Street with a depth of 80ft. The new building is to be modern in design, with a fireclay tile facing and a facade to conform to the Renaissance period. Marble will be used on the ground iioor, and the panelling will be of oak. Provision is made for several shops on the Fort Street frontage.
