Dr. A. C. McKellop, of Christchurch, and Dr. T. G. Gray, of Wellington, arrived in Auckland by the Limited express this morning. They are staying at the Grand Hotel.
Mr. E. G. Thorpe, boys' welfare officer at Auckland, has been transferred to take charge of the Child Welfare Department at Hamilton. His place will be taken by Mr. J. R. Sullivan.
Mr. W. Grounds, chairman of the Dairy Produce Board, who is at present staying at the Star Hotel, will leave for Hamilton on Wednesday, and will go on to the South Island later in the week.
