LAND ON CAMPBELL'S ISLAND
HARD PULL IN DINGHY.
EXHAUSTED OX ARRIVAL.
Capt. Mitchell and O. T. McLcod, master and mate respectively of the Oilenae. arc safe. Details are meagre, but it is reported that the men reached Campbell's Island after a perilous pull iu tlie ketch's dinghy through li .seas. The above advice was received by the waterfront police this afternoon, It appears that when the ketch capsized early on Saturday afternoon the two men managed to get into the dinghy, but it was not until evening that they succeeded in reaching Campbell's Island. Worn out after their struggles against the gale they staggered up to Captain Emtage's homestead, where they were given nourishment. This morning they were brought to Warkworth.
