COMMENCES TO-MORROW.
In order to arouse interest in the work of the Auckland Hospital the organisation known as the Hospital Auxiliary, which cares for the sick and needy of the city, has arranged for a "Hospital Week" commencing to-morrow.
The arrangements are not yet complete, but a general plan lias been agreed upon by a committee with Mrs. C. H. Drvsdale as the organising secretary. Mention of the work of the Hospital Auxiliary and the need of help and sympathy for the piovement will be made in all the churches to-morrow. The stimulation of public interest is .desired, while material help is urgently needed.
A street collection in aid of the auxiliary will be taken next Friday. During the week a reunion of trainees of the hospital will be held in the hospital. On Thursday afternoon Girl Guides of the Auckland division will visit the women's and. children's wards to deliver flowers and presents to the patients. A bridge and dance evening will be held on the same day. Addresses on suitable subjects will be broadcast, including a talk by the chairman of the Hos-. pital Board, Mr. W. Wallace, and a talk [ on recent advances in medicine by Dr. ! Bevan Browne.
