METHODIST ORPHANAGES.
On Tuesday next, in tlie Pitt Street Schoolroom, the annual gift afternoon, organised by tlie ladies' committee, will be held at 2.30 p.m. and gifte of money, material, or clothing will be received toward the clothing of 124 children in Wesley and Ep worth Homes, Mount Albert, and Buckland Road Home, Epsom. Opportunity will also be taken to extend a public farewell to Mre. Armitage, who has been matron of the Mount Albert Homes for over eight yeare. Miss Johnston, her successor from Canada, will also be welcomed.
