ELECTION OP OFFICERS.

An address on town planning was given by Mr. E. V. Blake at a meeting of the Auckland Suburban Local Bodies' Association on Thursday evening, the speaker illustrating points of his address by a plan of the Papatoetoe Road Board district.

The election of officers of the association resulted; President, Mr. E. J. O'Meara (Newmarket); vice-presidents, Messrs. W. C. Coldicutt (Onehunga), H. B. Dobbie (One Tree Hill); executive, Messrs. W. G. Lange (Mount Eden), W. •T. Nicholson (Papatoetoe); auditors, Messrs. J. M. Melville (Mount Eden), L. E. Rhodes (Mount Albert).
