An interesting development is the exportation from London this week ot boxes of New Zealand apples to Brazil. It is understood the Union Cold Storage purchased this at the then current market prices and shipped 4000 to Santoa and 'J.mO to l-tio de Janeiro by the Blue Star liner, Avila. Before the Panama Canal opened direct shipments used to be made to Sofith America from New Zealand. The apples always realised excellent prices. If the present shipment is equally successful others may follow, as meat carriers returning to the Argentine offer abundance of refrigerated space. Traders here would welcome further export* to South America as they would relieve the congestion in England. SYDNEY TRAHE MARKET.
