Wilkins and Eielson Welcomed In Oslo. MEDALS PRESENTED. (Australian Pre«s Assn.—United Service.) (Received 1.30 p.m.) LONDON, May 24. Captain Wilkins and Lieutenant Eielson were triumphantly received at Oslo on arrival from Bergen after their North Pole flight. The president of the Norwegian Geographical Society headed the welcoming delegation, and crowds# cheered en route to the Grand Hotel, where the Royal Suite was placed at their disposal. The explorers were motored to the home of Captain Amundsen, who held a special reception. The American Minister lunched with the airmen. There was a gala in the city, and banqueting in the evening, when Captain 'Amundsen, president of the newly-founded Norwegian Aero Club, decorated the airmen with the club's gold medal, saying that they had covered more unknown territory than any other airmen.
