CRIMINAL CLINIC.
Psychological Study Before Sentence. AMERICAN PLAN. (Australian and N.Z. Press Association.) (Received 9.30 a.m.) NEW YORK, May 24. The Court general sessions, which is the oldest and largest criminal Court in North Amcrica, has decided to adopt the services of psychologists and psychiatrists wO aid in their dealing with criminals. The nine judges comprising the Court have asked for the £1780 under the law recently passed by the Legislature and which becomes effective in July for the purpose of maintaining a clinic where criminals will be studied before they are sentenced. The proposed clinic is in lino with the recommendation of Governor Al. Smith of New York.
