1 lie Federal Territories Department has received a copy of a resolution troio the London Missionary Society congratulating the Papuan Government upon its successful exploratory expedition across the heart of this great island, and the discovery by two of its officers, Messrs. C. Karius and J. Champion, of the sources of the Fly and Sepik Rivei^. The opinfon is expressed that this achievement is the greatest in Papuan history.
