PROVINCIAL CONFERENCE.
ELECTION OF OFFICERS.

HAMILTON, Thursday.
The Auckland provincial conference of the New Zealand Farmers' Union reached an advanced stage to-day, when officers for the ensuing year were elected as follow:—President, Mr. A. A. Rosa* vice-presidents, Messrs. H. M. Rusliworth and R. H. Feisst; executive, Messrs. W. H. Allen, W. Boyd, R. H. Feisst. J. B. Jordan, A. N. Macky, "H. (J. McCready, D. C. Snelling, A. McL. Wright and A. K. Harding; delegates to Dominion conference. Messrs. W. H. Alien, W. Boyd, K. H. Feisst, A J. Giles, J. W. Jones. A. N. Macky, C. Munro. A. E. Robinson, H. M. Rushworth and A. McL. Wright.
The retirement of Messrs. 1". Colbeek and R. D. Uuxiield from tiie Auckland executive of the union after o0 and 2-3 years' service respectively was the subject of many eulogistic references J»v members from all parts of the province. -Mr. Sam Brown, of l!evedo:i. was made a provincial life member of the union.
