MR. GOODFELLOW ANNOYED. RESIGNATION FROM BOARD. "GOOD-BYE, I AM OFF." (By Telegraph.—Pren Association.) WELLINGTON, Thursday. The "Dairy Exporter" contains a full account of the scene at the Dairy Board meeting which culminated in Mr. W. Goodfellow's resignation. The chairman, Mr. W. Grounds, maintained that it was his right to express his views in his monthly review, and ha had done so on the export license question. * Mr. Hinc said the board had rendered itself absolutely impotent through its action at the last meeting, and had destroyed what prestige it had. The responsibility could not be thrown on the .Minister. Mr. Goodfellow asked if the chairman's review was subject to revision. The Chairman: No, apd it never bin been. Mr. Goodfellow described the action' of the chairman as "grossly insulting." Mr. Grounds said hia review was not insulting nor unfair, but it represented the position. He refused to accept Mr.! Goodfellow's proposal that the board should approve the review before its publication. He would not accept Mr. 1 Goodfellow's request for a ruling on the question. . Mr. Goodfellow: I am not going to be subject to this dirty rubbish. ! After further talk Mr. Goodfellow said, "You will accept mjr resignation gentlemen, please. Good-bye, gentlemen, I am off," and he left the room. The chairman said he felt quite Justified in his attitude. " ' '
